“Tableau” is a large-scale ceramic installation by Rose Eken shown at V1 gallery in Copenhagen. Through an extensive research period, Eken corresponded with contemporary artists around the world and received photos of their studios, working tables and tools. Based on the material Eken has created a large meta studio in ceramics – a fictional atelier – where every object refers back to a specific artist’s practice and working environment.

we’re all water in different containers
that’s why it’s so easy to meet
someday we’ll evaporate together
but even after the water’s gone
we’ll probably point out to the containers
and say, “that’s me there, that one”.
we’re container minders

I’ve been enjoying nice walks around my new neighborhood these days.
Christianshavn offers diverse types of achitecture, charming little streets as well as lively crossroads. Water and nature are predominant (Christianshavn is an artifical island neighbourhood founded in the early 17th century by Christian IV) as you walk by the canal or around the bastions.
