Extract of a recent photoshoot, part of a mixed-media project called “Deep down”.
Last week, I experienced Frank Koolen’s playful universe through the exhibition “Play Hard” at Roskilde museum of contemporary Art.
I am a big fan of participatory Art and I played along with enthusiasm.
With the video installation “Escaping the maplands” (a parody of Google Streetview) I took part in the narratives appearing on the screen by experimenting with shadows. That was fun.
“Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.”
“Tableau” is a large-scale ceramic installation by Rose Eken shown at V1 gallery in Copenhagen. Through an extensive research period, Eken corresponded with contemporary artists around the world and received photos of their studios, working tables and tools. Based on the material Eken has created a large meta studio in ceramics – a fictional atelier – where every object refers back to a specific artist’s practice and working environment.
